Discovery Pack: Classic, Ethiopian or Sunrise—Which Should You Choose?

Tableland Coffee Discovery Pack product image

Want to find your everyday coffee without committing to one large bag? The Tableland Discovery Pack gives you three separate 250g bags—750g of coffee to compare at home.

The difference between Classic, Ethiopian and Sunrise is simple: each selection includes Signature Blend and Colombian Supremo. Your third coffee changes the tasting experience.

Check the live pack options for current availability before ordering.

What stays the same?

  • Signature Blend, 250g: medium-dark roast with milk chocolate, caramel and roasted-nut notes. A full-bodied starting point for espresso and milk coffee.
  • Colombian Supremo, 250g: a washed Colombian medium roast with milk chocolate, caramel and red-apple notes. A balanced option for milk drinks and black coffee.

These are separate coffees, not one combined blend. Brew each bag on its own to find the flavours you enjoy.

Classic: three versatile everyday coffees

The Classic selection adds Colombian Excelso, a washed medium roast with citrus, caramel and milk-chocolate notes. It suits someone who wants to compare a richer house blend with two Colombian single origins, including a brighter citrus finish.

It is a useful selection for households that enjoy flat whites, lattes or long blacks.

Ethiopian: choose a greater contrast

The Ethiopian selection replaces Excelso with Ethiopian Bona Zuria. This washed single origin is roasted light-medium, with peach, jasmine and lemon-verbena notes.

Choose this selection if you want to explore a floral, fruity coffee alongside the chocolate-and-caramel character of Signature and Supremo. Bona Zuria is especially suited to pour-over, filter, AeroPress and other black-coffee brewing.

The name does not mean three Ethiopian coffees: the pack contains Bona Zuria, Signature Blend and Colombian Supremo.

Sunrise: a smooth Brazilian alternative

The Sunrise selection replaces Excelso with Sunrise, our natural-process Brazilian Santos medium roast. Its profile combines milk chocolate, walnut and soft citrus with a full body and sweet finish.

Choose Sunrise if you want a comforting everyday comparison for espresso, milk coffee, moka pot or plunger. You still receive Signature Blend and Supremo, with the Brazilian single origin as your third bag.

How to compare your three coffees

  1. Start with the drink you normally enjoy: a flat white, long black, filter coffee or plunger.
  2. Keep your coffee-to-water ratio—and milk quantity, if used—similar between cups. Adjust the grind for each coffee as needed.
  3. Notice which cup you prefer for sweetness, body and finish. Tasting notes are a guide to flavour character, rather than a promise that every brewing method will taste identical.

Choose the right grind

One grind selection applies to all three bags: Whole Bean, Espresso, Moka Pot, Filter, or Plunger / French Press. Choose Whole Bean if you grind at home. Otherwise match the option to your brewing method using our grind size guide.

For milk-coffee choices, see our flat white and cappuccino guide.
